About the Artist

Adrienne grew up in Maryland where she received instruction in fine art and graphic design at the Maryland Institute College of Art. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications she started working as a graphic artist and web designer.

MANY YEARS LATER… there was as imbalance in the universe and Adrienne could not escape the necessity of art in her life. She attended a class at a local art guild, met some great people, and was inspired to start making jewelry. Learning to work in fine silver, sterling silver and base metals, there was no turning back! Then she fell in love with beads and was enamored by bead embroidery. Focusing on learning as much as she could about her new passions, Adrienne has taken workshops with several renowned instructors. Currently she has been focusing on developing her own voice and style in her work. Adrienne puts her whole heart into everything she does. This can be seen in the intuitive and spontaneous way in which she works. She is inspired by nature, colors, and textures. She has a passion in searching for treasure - unique components to incorporate into her designs.
